Come to Alpha Auto Care for your New York State vehicle safety, Motorcycle and Diesel inspections. As you may know the program helps make sure every vehicle registered in this state meets the minimum standards for safe operation on public streets and highways. In addition, most vehicles are subject to an emissions inspection to help reduce air pollution.

All vehicles registered in New York State must get a safety inspection and an emissions inspection every 12 months. Both inspections are done at the same time by a certified Department of Motor Vehicles (DMV) inspector at privately-owned inspection stations licensed by the DMV. Alpha Car Care is certified to not only do inspections for motor vehicles, but for motorcycles and diesel vehicles too. 

Inspections are also required when the ownership of a vehicle is transferred. (Some vehicles are exempt from emissions inspections.)
